Once in a while I like to volunteer at food banks with my church. I was able to help those that suffered from the Pallisades fire as well as local people at parks in need for food. Volunteering at food pantries are quite underrated, your help of a couple of hours in the morning allows for more meals and people to be served. Volunteering at food banks are also a great way to build relationships with fellow volunteers and people in your community.
